What our Experts Think
  • Heavy-Duty Power
Rated at 10,500 lb, this hydraulic winch is built for heavy trucks, utility rigs, trailers, and demanding off-road or worksite recovery tasks.

  • Continuous-Duty Hydraulic System
Uses the vehicle’s power steering pump, allowing continuous operation without draining the battery or overheating, ideal for frequent or prolonged use.

  • Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction
Sealed, corrosion-resistant housing with stainless steel fasteners and submersible design ensures reliable operation in rain, mud, snow, or water crossings.

  • Professional-Grade Features

  • 3-stage planetary gear train with mechanical load-holding brake for smooth, controlled pulls.

  • 100 ft of 3/8” steel cable (≈ 14,400 lb break strength) for extended reach.

  • Can be mounted front or rear for flexible installation on trucks, trailers, or work rigs.

  • High Reliability Under Load
Hydraulic drive plus heavy-duty construction reduces risk of thermal cut-outs, overheat, or battery failure compared with electric winches.

  • Best Applications
Ideal for heavy trucks, utility work, off-road recovery, and industrial use. Not recommended for light vehicles or small ATVs.

  • Bottom Line
The HI10500 offers dependable, high-capacity recovery power, continuous operation, and robust build — perfect for serious off-road, towing, or worksite tasks.

Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect before and after use: Check the cable or synthetic rope for frays, kinks, or damage, and ensure the drum rotates smoothly.

  • Test operation regularly: Run the winch under no-load conditions to confirm smooth hydraulic engagement.

  • Check hydraulic connections: Ensure hoses and fittings are secure, leak-free, and properly tightened.

  • Clean and protect: Remove dirt, mud, and debris from the winch, drum, and fairlead; protect exposed metal surfaces from corrosion.

  • Monitor hydraulic fluid: Check reservoir levels and fluid condition periodically; replace or top off as recommended.

  • Avoid continuous heavy pulls: Allow the winch and hydraulic system to cool between long or heavy pulls to prevent overheating.

  • Store safely: When not in use, protect the winch from moisture and debris to maintain longevity.
