Everest - ETRF2, Commercial 59" Undercounter Worktop Dual Temperature Refrigerator Freezer - ETRF2
The Undercounter Side Mount series comes with the multi-functional advantages of the back mount line with added features to enhance user experience. It comes with a robust digital display and control system for precise temperature management. Equipped with the Blizzard R290 system, a fully self-contained and detachable condensing unit which uses environmentally friendly R404A refrigerant with zero (0) Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and?EPA-compliant R290 refrigerant with zero (0) Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and three (3) Global Warming Potential (GWP). Blizzard R290 is easily replaceable and requires no on-site brazing.
All-In-One Slide-Out Cooling Cartridge
Blizzard R290 Is the latest innovation in refrigeration technology. Patented by Everest. This all-in-one eco-friendly and easy to install condensing unit will surely blow away the competition.
The Blizzard uses R290, a natural, climate friendly, hydrocarbon refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). It"â„¢s an effective alternative to hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) based refrigerants. Without harmful effects to the environment. Blizzard and all Everest equipment meet the daily energy consumption standards of the U.S. Department of Energy & Environment Protection Agency.

Maintenance Tips
-
Clean condenser coils monthly to ensure efficient cooling and freezing performance, and reduce energy consumption.
-
Inspect and clean door/lid gaskets weekly to maintain airtight seals — preventing temperature loss and frost buildup.
-
Keep compartments organized and avoid overloading so cold air can circulate evenly throughout both fridge and freezer sections.
-
Defrost freezer section as needed if ice accumulates — this helps preserve compressor health and temperature consistency.
-
Sanitize all interior surfaces, shelves, and worktop weekly using non‑abrasive, food‑safe cleaners to uphold hygiene and prevent corrosion.
-
Check and clear drain pans or drain lines monthly to avoid water buildup, leaks, or odors.
-
Monitor internal temperatures daily to ensure both fridge and freezer stay within safe storage ranges.
-
Arrange annual professional servicing — including inspections of refrigerant levels, fans, seals, and electrical components — to extend the unit’s lifespan and reliability.
